In Naruto Shippuden 50 entitled "Picturebook tells a story" the episode started off with how Naruto, Sakura, Yamato, and Sai in two groups both see that looks for Sasuke. A surprising visitor shows up to both Sai and Naruto, can you guess who it is? If you look carefully from Naruto Shippuden 49, it does show who he is!

Until this episode, it appeared that #50 was to be the destination of the brief glimpse at the start of episode #1.
Even the DIALOGUE of this one was talking about "Slowing down" and "plenty of time." It's a cop out to extend the amount of episodes they can run before the end of Shippuden's first main arc. The show's proving to be better than the filler, but it's still a long way from repeating the quality of storytelling and character development of the original story run.
I don't know about anyone else, but "Things are starting to heat up" seems to be a little too hopeful.
