no Naruto does not die this is what happens he (naruto) meets like 10 black figures that can cast energy blasts and there fighting and they knock his headband off and then naruto like falls into like a ravine or somthing and when he comrads get there (neji lee and sakura) they find his headband and some of his blood so they asume that he is dead. so they go back to hidden leaf villege and they tell eevryone that he is dead so they get a grave and thats why naruto head band is on the grave and his name is also on the frave

hmm, ok aiminaruto. i had understood that the death was the one from further on in the series naruto shippuden where naruto expends about 75% of his chakra in one go to make a clone of himself so he can be in two places at once. in ther book, they both went off to tackel seperate missions that only naruto could handle and the clone died. being it was a "perfect" chakra clone it didnt disapear and they thought that naruto had died and gave him a funeral.
